| Ranks and promotions are assigned by cumulative hours and, in the case of the Senior Flight Officer ranks, is dependant on the completion of certification exams administered by Steve's Flight School (see link below). |
PILOT CERTIFICATION is a method we use to ensure quality pilots hold higher ranks. The tests are designed to assess your basic knowledge of aviation topics. These are by no means difficult tests, but you may need to do some research on some questions. The tests are conducted at Steve's Flight School web site (banner below) and the results are automatically sent to the CEO, who will then post the appropriate rank.
Tests are available in 3 levels:
- PVP (Private Virtual Pilot)
- CVP (Commercial Virtual Pilot)
- ATVP (Airline Transport Virtual Pilot).
TESTS MUST BE TAKEN IN ORDER.
If you fail a test, you must wait a minimum of 24 hours before attempting the test again.
