First, let me remind everyone that Steve's Flight School is fully functional again, so if you're looking to test for your certifications, go to Steve's and sign up for a free account (required for testing).

Second, congratulations to Manu, who just passed his PVP Exam at Steve's. This gets him his Cert I here at EAC.

Third, I have fallen woefully behind in promotion certificates. I don't have the emails I am SUPPOSED to receive, so if you're due a certificate and haven't received it yet, email me or reply here.

Andy,
perhaps I jumped the gun a bit at Steve's flight school.  I signed up for the account and just took the private test out of curiosity.  Haven't been with EAC too long, but after passing the private I went ahead to the commercial and passed that as well.  It wasn't until I pushed my luck and didn't fair so good on the ATP test did I realize it was actually mailing the results to the CEO here.  Anyways, I'm probably still due for plenty of hours before actually being promoted to anything despite the certificates for private/commercial.  But, if you see those from me all in the same evening that's my fault for being a little over zealous with the testing.  Either way, it was a good review from my FAA written I took not so long for private.  LoL    Cool

I don't think there's any harm done. All that's done is that you got the testing out of the way quicker.
Don't worry about not passing the ATP test the first time. I lost count at how many times I re-took mine. I told Andy that the sun was in my eyes...that didn't work.

Excellent....Well done.....now I know how you got the CD for rank......now it's just a matter of increasing your hours and experience that will help you complete and pass your ATP.....Congratulations.....
