Here are a few shots of a default 777 leaving Seattle and one of the x737-800 freeware at KBFI. Frame rates are in the upper left corners.

Coooooolllll........yup, the graphics are better.  I like how "sharp" the planes and the scenery looks.

Thanks Andy

Hi! those are some nice pics! If i get x-plane to run better than FSX on my computer can i fly the assignments on it? Also, how is it simulation wise... is there a "getting used to" period if i am transferring from the flight simulator series. Technically if they arfe both accurate simulators there should not but you never know.  Roll Eyes

Also, since microsoft has decided to shut down the ACES studios, i am sure that the developers at x-plane will take advantage of the situation and try to claim the "worlds best flight simulator title"
So it would probably make sense to keep an eye on it and maybe even make some repaints for x-plane. The only problem is that thne database for x-plane add-ons is very small compared to the FS one...

As long as you are able to fly your assignments with the correct aircraft, X-Plane is certainly an option. For more downloads, go to www.x-plane.org. There lots of downloads available there.
