Files in this package modified/created by Andy Hatcher

DISCLAIMER
==========

The files included in this zip file are for use with ServInfo. They have been modified to include data and logo information for Eagle Air Charter Virtual Airlines. These files, while thoroughly tested, are to be installed and used at your own risk.

GENERAL
=======

With the launch of our FSD server, I have modified the included ServInfo files to display our logo and link when viewing an EGC pilot. I will also include the custom network setup so that you can enter the necessary information to be able to view EGC's ServInfo data.

INSTALLATION
============

1)  First and foremost, you'll need to have a working copy of ServInfo on your system. The great thing about ServInfo is that there are no installation files. You simply download and unzip the file wherever you want it and run it from there. I won't go into details about that here.

2)  Once you have unzipped this package, navigate to your ServInfo folder and make a backup copy of your "servinfo.dat" file.

3)  Place the "servinfo.dat" file included in this package into your main ServInfo folder, replacing the original.

4)  Place the "Logos" folder into the main Servinfo folder. Nothing inside the folder will be overwritten, so there's nothing to back up.

5)  If ServInfo is already running, stop and restart it so the new files can be read.

SETTING UP A CUSTOM NETWORK
===========================

ServInfo can be edited to collect and display data on custom networks. Doing this is a fairly simple process.

1) Start ServInfo.

2) Click on "Optinos" in the top menu, then select "Connection Parameters."

3) In a drop-down menu on the top right of the box, select the Custom Network you wish to edit.

4) Next to "Network Name:" enter EGCVA.

5) In the "Locator path url" box, enter "hatchers.zapto.org (without quotes ot http://)"

6) Click "Okay" in the lower left corner.

7) At the top left of the ServInfo window, you'll see a button for VATSIM, IVAO, and another button. Use the arrows next to that button to scroll to the network you just set up. If you set it up correctly, you should see "Press to download the current data from the EGCVA server." appear when you hover your mouse over the button. Click the button.

At first, you may not see any traffic, but hopefully the server gains popularity and becomes more widely used. At the present time, our server is also connected to a server operated by DC-3 Airways. This means that you may occasionally see traffic from that VA online. On that note, this allows us to also fly and communicate with those pilots, and them with us.
